Love Rachel Notley’s letter, it strikes at the heart of the matter. This is all the fault of the UCP [Ultimate Control Party], they have brought in un-accountability; silenced opposition in every way possible; denied people who live in Alberta of basic fundamental rights - such as the right to access healthcare, education and other human rights, that fall under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As well as vastly mismanaged funding they collect from oil revenues; steered Alberta away from cleaner energy solutions, as well as mismanaged federal funding they receive. It’s time for an election, so the 70% of Albertans who wish to remain in Canada have their say. Dani Smith is the worst premier and the UCP is the worst government in all of Alberta’s history. It’s time they go! Pack your bags, UCP members and go state side to Trumpville.
I 100% agree—Rachel Notley's letter was the strongest response I've read to date. I'm still waiting for more faith leaders to stand up, as well as corporate leaders who are willing to feed off public funds but remain silent when it comes to protecting their employees and their families against outright discrimination. We should never let the oligarchy get a free pass. ❤️
She was. However I have huge issues with NDP at the top. Rachel needed to campaign on her amazing accomplishments. But she kept banging the drum on smith dishonesty. That came from the top and they cost her the election. I had convos with NDP rural and they did similar crap there - top had plans laid out for them and just did what they usually do - didn’t listen. They share equal blame. I wanna do something about them.

Let me see if I’m understanding. We are looking at an $83B budget deficit. But according to APP, if we separate, nobody will have to pay any taxes because we’ll be just fine on oil revenues. Don’t we have oil revenues now?
